-It is commonly used in drug synthesis and in the fields of pesticides and cosmetics.
Method:
The preparation of 3-(4-fluorophenyl)-fluorophenyl can be carried out by the following steps:
1. 4-fluorophenylboronic acid (4-fluorophenylboronic acid) was added to react with 4-nitrobenzoic acid methyl ester (4-nitrobenzyl nitrate) under alkaline conditions.
2. The product methyl 4-(4-fluorophenyl) benzoate (4-(4-fluorophenyl) benzoate) was reduced to the corresponding ketone by hydrogenation using hydrogen and a Pd/C catalyst.
3. React with urea to generate the target product 3-(4-fluorophenyl)-fluorol.
Safety Information:
According to the existing literature, 3-(4-fluorophenyl)-is generally considered to be relatively safe under correct operation and appropriate safety precautions. However, be sure to follow laboratory safety practices and use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as chemical gloves and safety glasses.
